The Swiss Championships of the Swiss Compact Sport Association (CSS) took place in Giubiasco on 14 and 15 March 2026. Despite the nasty weather, numerous players and visitors made their way to the venue and created an excellent atmosphere.

The event was superbly organised by the Ticino darts association FDTM. In addition to the professional preparation, the wide range of catering options and the smooth running of the competitions were particularly impressive. The official Swiss championship competitions were played in accordance with CSS regulations, as well as additional open tournaments, which provided extra excitement.

Another special occasion was the 5th anniversary of the FDTM, which was duly celebrated during the event. The combination of sporting competition and anniversary lent the weekend a special atmosphere.

The championship developed into a real darts festival with many personal encounters, exciting games and a successful exchange within the darts community. All in all, the event can be described as an all-round success.

We are already looking forward to the next Swiss Championships, which will take place from 20.03.2027-21.03.2027 in Zweisimmen.
